THE CABIN
Much thought has been given to provide an ideal setting for both vacationers and retreat goers alike. With 3 levels, 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, this 3000 ft2 cabin easily accommodates groups up to 10. There are 3 separate sitting areas, one on each level, and an 800 ft2 deck overlooking San Isabel National Forest. The decor is rustic, yet beautiful, with a distinct mountain feel. From luxurious towels to cozy comforters, from tucked away chairs on the sunny deck to comfortable couches around the stone fireplace, details are what make this mountain getaway complete. The cabin is equipped a computer and printer, a Bose ipod docking station, a Blueray disc/DVD player (with over 100 DVDs for every age and gender), a 40" high definition TV, and a large selection of books and games.
Vacation Rentals
Summertime is a great time to vacation at The Cabin at Trout Creek. Whether it is enjoying some much needed quiet down time, engaging in the many outdoor activities this area has to offer, or a little bit of both, the cabin will provide you with a great mountain getaway!
The cabin is intentionally designed to be big enough to have Grandma and Grandpa or family friends join you, but not too big if you are a small family on your summer vacation. It also has a very family friendly atmosphere, providing relaxation for people of all ages. You are free to hike or bike out the front door in San Isabel National Forest (we have a couple of bikes on the property), enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck, play a board game in front of the gas fireplace, or curl up with popcorn and a movie (we have over 100 to choose from!)

Small Group Retreats
Year round, the cabin is available for you to getaway for a small group retreat. Whether you are looking for a place for a girls getaway, a church leadership retreat, a scrapbooking weekend, or any number of gatherings, the cabin is designed with you in mind and will nicely accommodate a group up to 10 (each person will have their own bed). The cabin has two large group gathering areas, tables for crafts or meetings, and a large selection of scrapbooking supplies. We have a fully stocked kitchen with crock pots and coffee makers and everything in between. For those of you who would rather not bother with cooking, we have a list of caterers we highly recommend.
We are a book club--The Novel Ones--who are 6 ladies from the Denver area. We have been reading together for 18 years. We do an annual outing every fall. This location has far surpassed any place we have ever gone. The house was beautiful, the scenery gorgeous, and the weather perfect. What a great weekend!
