Scrapbooking and Small Group Retreats The Cabin at Trout Creek provides a pristine setting for scrapbooking and small group retreats with everything you need to make your retreat experience rich and memorable. Scrapbooking Retreats (September-May) If you love to scrapbook and are looking for a perfect getaway to work on your books and connect with other women, you will find it at The Cabin at Trout Creek. From September to May, the cabin is set up with you in mind, providing ample work space, numerous scrapbooking supplies, and many other ammenities to make your time both productive and relaxing. Designed by a nature lover and avid scrapbooker, you will find the cabin to be all you would want it to be in a scrapbooking getaway tucked away in the mountains. This is a non-hosted cabin, allowing you complete privacy. You may prepare your own meals from our fully stocked kitchen (which includes 2 crock pots, waffle and sandwich makers, indoor and outdoor grills and many other kitchen tools), or you may choose to have your meals catered from one of Buena Vista's excellent caterers (see below or contact us for more information). Of course, a night out at one of the many fabulous restaurants in town is always an option. See our gallery for more photos. Some of our supplies include... We offer the cabin to you for the weekend or at discounted midweek rates. You are welcome to add a Thursday or Monday to your weekend getaway, allowing you time to make the most of your retreat experience, take in some of the many outdoor activities the area has to offer, or enjoy some extra downtime. Please Contact Us for more information or to make an inquiry. Small Group Retreats Year-round the cabin is available for you to connect with others for formal or informal small group retreats. Whether it is an informal girl's getaway, a structured church men's retreat, a church staff/leadership retreat, or a book club gathering, the cabin will comfortably accommodate your group of up to 10. See above for rate information. Caterers Depending on the caterer, they are able to bring prepared cooked meals to you, prepare the meal in your presence, or provide frozen meals right before your arrival.
