The Cabin

Much thought has been given to provide an ideal setting for both vacationers and retreat-goers alike. With four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, the cabin can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to feel at home. There are three separate sitting areas, one on each level, and a 600 square foot deck, allowing plenty of room to take in the beautiful views of San Isabel National Forest to the south and the snow capped peaks to the north. Although the cabin is available and comfortably accommodates vacationers year-round, from September - May the cabin is set up to meet the needs of small group and scrapbooking retreats, with much of the lower level set up with tables and meeting room space. Also during these months, the cabin is set up to allow up to 10 people to have their own bed. The loft level has two bedrooms, one which sleeps four and the other which sleeps 3. The main level has a queen bed, the lower level has two twins.

During the summer months, we put away all the scrapbooking supplies and adjust the cabin to be more family friendly. Two twin beds in the loft are replaced with a king bed, allowing more than one family to comfortably sleep.

The decor is rustic, yet beautiful, with a distinct mountain feel.  From luxurious towels to cozy comforters, from tucked away chairs on the sunny deck to comfortable couches around the stone gas fireplace, details are what make this mountain getaway complete.

The cabin is equipped with wi-fi, a computer and printer, a Bose ipod docking station, a Blueray disc/DVD player (with over 100 DVDs for every age and gender) , a 40" LCD TV, and a large selection of books and games.

We also have 4 bikes and 2 pair of snowshoes for you to use to explore the area throughout the year. Trails into San Isabel National Forest are a short walk away.
